Microneedling in Kelowna
Targeted Renewal, Visible Results

Microneedling is a collagen induction therapy that uses fine, controlled needles to create micro-channels in the skin, triggering your body to rebuild collagen and elastin. At Healthpoint Cosmetic + Laser in Kelowna, treatments start at $350 and are performed by licensed medical aestheticians to smooth acne scars, fine lines, enlarged pores, and uneven texture with minimal downtime. Most clients book a series of 3 sessions spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart.

Collagen Induction Therapy

Also called collagen induction therapy (CIT), microneedling works with your body’s own repair process: each micro-channel prompts fresh collagen and elastin, gradually improving texture, scarring, and tone over a series of sessions with no foreign substances in the base treatment. It also lets serums absorb far more effectively.

Acne Scarring

How It Works

Our Microneedling Process: What to Expect

For deeper results we can pair microneedling with regenerative add-ons: exosomes ($400) or stem cells ($250) applied to the freshly channelled skin deliver concentrated growth factors that speed healing, calm redness, and amplify collagen. PRP (the “vampire facial”) is another option.

PicoWay Laser Tattoo Removal Process

01

Numb

We cleanse and prep your skin, then apply a topical numbing cream for about 20–30 minutes so the treatment stays comfortable.

02

Stimulate

A medical microneedling device passes over the treatment area, creating controlled micro-channels at a depth matched to your concern and skin type.

03

Renew

A calming serum is applied (plus your exosome or stem cell add-on, if chosen). Healing begins right away, revealing brighter, smoother, more refined skin over the following days.

Yes acne scars are one of microneedling’s most effective uses. By triggering collagen in and around the scar, it gradually smooths depressed rolling and boxcar scars and improves overall texture. Adding exosomes can enhance results, and deeper scarring may also benefit from PicoWay Resolve. Most scar plans need a series.

Most clients need 3–6 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart. Collagen remodelling is gradual, so improvement continues for weeks after each session and across the series. Your provider recommends a number based on your skin and goals.

Downtime is minimal expect redness and a warm, tight feeling like a mild sunburn for 24–48 hours, sometimes with light flaking. Most people return to normal activities the next day, with makeup typically fine after 24 hours. Wear SPF, as skin is more sun-sensitive afterward.

Yes because microneedling works mechanically rather than with light or heat, it carries a lower risk of pigmentation issues than many lasers, making it a good option across skin tones. It isn’t suitable over active infections, active acne, or certain skin conditions, which we check first.
