Peel Away Dullness, Reveal Renewal

A peel accelerates your skin’s natural shedding, dissolving the bonds between dull, damaged cells so fresh, healthy skin comes through. Strength and ingredients (glycolic, lactic, salicylic and blends) are matched to your skin type and goal. For active acne we choose salicylic-based peels; for pigment and tone we use brightening blends. Peels pair well with microneedling and a good home routine from our AlumierMD range.

Chemical Peels in Kelowna

We don’t use a one size fits all approach with our clients. Healthpoint Cosmetic is where your skin gets a custom strategy.
GET IN TOUCH

Customised, not one-size-fits-all.

We match peel chemistry and strength to your skin type, tone, and concern rather than applying a single formula to everyone.

Medical-grade AlumierMD.

Professional peels reach concerns that over-the-counter acids simply can’t, predictably and safely.

Skin-tone aware.

Deeper skin tones carry a higher risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation, so we start gentler and build strength deliberately.

Planned as a series.

Peels work best in a course alongside good home care we set that plan up front rather than selling single treatments.

Pre & Post Treatment

How to prepare for your treatment?

Stop retinoids and exfoliating acids about 7 days before, avoid sun exposure and self-tanner for a week, and don’t wax or have other facial treatments in the days prior. Tell us about cold sore history we may recommend antivirals.

What to do after your treatment?

Depending on depth, expect anything from a light glow to several days of visible flaking. Do not pick or pull peeling skin. Use gentle cleanser and moisturiser only, avoid retinoids and vitamin C for 1–2 weeks, skip heavy sweating and heat, and wear SPF religiously skin is highly sun-sensitive after a peel.

A peel applies medical-grade acids that exfoliate damaged surface skin, prompting faster cell turnover and fresh skin growth. The result is brighter, smoother, more even-toned skin with reduced pigmentation, clearer pores, and softer fine lines. Strength is customized to your skin and downtime tolerance.

Yes. Salicylic-based peels clear pores and calm active breakouts, while resurfacing peels improve post-acne marks and texture over a series. For deeper acne scarring we often combine peels with microneedling or PicoWay Resolve for better results.

Yes, with the right peel and an experienced provider. Deeper skin tones have a higher risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation if a peel is too aggressive, so we start gentler and build up. We assess your skin and history at your consultation to choose the safest option.

For lighter peels, a series every 3–4 weeks builds results, followed by maintenance every 1–3 months. Medium-depth peels are spaced further apart because they resurface more deeply. Your provider sets a schedule based on the peel type and your skin’s response.
