Sports Physiology, Rehabilitation Therapy, Laser Therapy
Scott is a practicing kinesiologist who specializes in sports medicine and rehabilitation therapy. He has worked extensively with professional sports teams and world-class athletes. Scott is passionate about helping others reach their goals, whether it be an Olympic medal or simply [but sometimes just as daunting] walking without pain. His comprehensive knowledge of physiology, combined with a deep sense of compassion for any type of suffering makes him a gifted and effective practitioner. Scott continues study in the area of laser therapy, working on developing new protocols for numerous conditions, while also working with political bodies to advance quality and safety in the laser therapy industry. Scott is a practicing member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists. He also holds certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and as a Certified Exercise Physiologist from the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology.
More recently, Scott discovered low level laser therapy and soon realized how this technology could be used to help his patients live free of pain, anxiety and destructive addictions. He holds advanced certifications in low level laser therapy and safety protocols from Alpha Life Style Laser Systems and Theralase Technologies.
When he’s not helping others, Scott is busy pursuing his other great loves: sports like skiing, rock climbing, bodybuilding, hiking, tennis, hockey and playing jazz, rock and classical guitar. Oh yeah, and cooking awesomely yummy, healthy food. Or studying quantum mechanics. For fun. I know …. weird.
