Marketing and Communications
Melanie is our marketing and public relations guru. She is the communications contact for all media reps, and a terrific spokesperson for all of us here at HealthPoint Laser Clinic.
Melanie has experience in marketing, advertising, strategic planning and research in the private sector, government, and non-profit sector. As the owner of ProjectAbility, she has worked with a variety of companies and organizations in health care, tourism, hospitality, industrial sectors, multiculturalism, and bilingualism. She began her career working on Parliament Hill for a cabinet minister, and then worked at Industry Canada in Victoria and Vancouver, and at Heritage Canada.
Melanie obtained her Masters from Dalhousie University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Ottawa. She has a love of learning and is continuously updating her marketing knowledge through workshops, seminars, webinars, and courses.
Melanie has been active as a volunteer for years and feels particularly privileged to have been a volunteer at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver. She has run three half marathons over the past few years and is gearing up for another one.
